First, take a look at the services and pricing we offer. Here are a few points to consider as you decide whether you and Smarty Pants are meant to be.
Is it within your budget? If you are just starting out it may feel like nothing is within your budget and money is flying out the door. We understand. This is why we’ve structured our web business the way we have. We want you to have a hard-working website to show your audience why they should do business with you. We don’t want you to break the bank to get it.
We believe you’ll find our prices are competitive, but we understand if it’s still out of your price range. In that case, you might consider setting up your own website. We recommend a WordPress website built on a theme from StudioPress. It will take a little more of your time away from your core business, but if it keeps you on track financially that may be the better choice.
Do our services meet your needs? We’ve set up our packages so you’ll have a beautiful and hard-working theme that is customized for your brand and needs. In addition, we will take care of all your website needs for the first three months (book now and make it six!). This is an important time as you build your business and find out more about your audience’s questions and concerns. We will be there to make the edits and changes you need to meet their needs.
However, if you want a completely custom design or lots of custom coding, we aren’t the right shop for you. Your business is your baby – it’s important to balance your needs with staying lean, and you are the one who knows where the sweet spot is.

Step One – Complete an inquiry form. We ask for quite a few details about what you are looking for, but if you don’t know them all that’s okay. Just say you don’t know and we’ll dig a little deeper when we talk.
Step Two – Schedule a call. Once you submit the inquiry form, you’ll receive a calendar link to set up a call with us and a Dropbox link where you can share documents and graphics with us. Some people have a lot of content already written, or they’ve had some logos drawn by a graphic designer. We want to see that before we talk so we have a good idea of where you are coming from and where you want to go. But if you are starting from square one and don’t have any of those materials yet, that’s okay, too. We can help you define your project when we talk.
Step Three – We like each other! After our conversation, we will send a proposal and a contract to you. Simply sign the contract and return it with your deposit, and we will get started on your project lickety-split.
